Jacksonville's Strategic Plan

The City of Jacksonville is a member of the Alabama Communities of Excellence (ACE) 2006 class. The ACE program is a three-phase approach to community development. Jacksonville has a team of volunteers from the many member organizations who are working with city officials and community volunteers to plan for a more vibrant future for Jacksonville.

Jacksonville has completed Phase I: Assessment. Currently, Jacksonville is in Phase II: Leadership Development and Strategic Planning. The final phase of the ACE program is Phase III: Implementation and Comprehensive Planning.

The ACE Committees want you, the community, to be informed and involved! There are no special qualifications required to participate on the ACE Team.
